New Patreon Exclusive Post now Live

I am making an attempt to post here every week- I think it will always be sometime in the middle of the week, Tuesday or Wednesday. Maybe once I develop a groove with it, it will land more consistently on one day.

This week I wanted to share a Christmas travel story, but it’s not one I’m particularly proud of, so I’ve posted it on my Patreon behind a paywall. I will share the lesson I learned from it, though: never go somewhere alone with a stranger, and always make sure your friends know where you are. <3

Antarctica update: All of my field recording equipment has arrived, and I am learning how to use it! So many shapes and sizes and wires - I’m hoping to be able to make a video about them soon. And I’m 86% of the way to my stretch goal! All is well.
